Halal Research Council certifies the products under the reverent coordination of recognized Shariah Supervisory Board, highly qualified Food Technologists, Chemical Engineers and R&D professionals in respect of eligibility for Certification through research based methodology scrutinizing the sources of ingredients, examining the entire supply chain, chemical examination and analyzing Shariah prospects of ingredients used in the products. About International Halal Industry Awards
These awards are a signature initiative of Halal Research Council aimed to recognize the industry Leaders, Organizations and their years of contribution. Award distribution ceremonies are conducted to highlight the best practices in Halal Food Sector and celebrate the success of institutions and individuals, with and ultimate objective of promoting social responsibility, Standards authenticity and commitment to Halal Food Management.

Selection Criteria
At the heart of the selection methodology, comprehensive research undertaken by Halal Research Council. There are two ways for nominations that are determined. The first is where nominations are accepted from industry players who would like to be considered for the Awards in a particular category. This is the case for "Self Nominations." The second is where the research team recommends to the Nomination Committee; the names of the institutions and individuals, which their research supports for the Awards. These prestigious awards provide ample opportunities to everyone in the industry to compete by excelling in their respective fields and promoting themselves through media and other means of communication. Nominations for Halal Food Organizations, Institutions and Pharmaceutical awards 2020 will be received in the below given categories.

Each category may have up to 2 - 3 nominations. The nominees’ identities may be kept confidential if the confirmed participating nominees prefer so.
